Thebe has a classic and timeless shape that makes the cutlery just as beautiful and contemporary today as when it was created in 1944. Thebe was Gense’s first modern stainless steel cutlery collection and is inspired by the sumptuous Egyptian style with its stringent and stylish lines.

Thebe in 2024 is adapted to the present. The cutlery is longer and more in harmony with the present – the length of the individual cutlery pieces has been increased by approximately 10%, and the material is 91% recycled stainless steel.

Dorotea

The design is inspired by the natural area around the small village of Dorotea. Here, ice has created a landscape of mountains, valleys and large open areas which together form soft, fluid shapes that endlessly flow together. This transition is often overlooked, but the adventurous and surprising part of the design lies precisely here.

With its minimalist and organic shapes, the Dorotea collection combines tradition and artisanal design on an international level. Dorotea is produced from 91% post-consumer recycled stainless steel.
