AB Gense was founded in Eskilstuna, Sweden in 1856 by Gustav Eriksson and is one of the largest and most renowned suppliers of high-quality cutlery in silver and stainless steel in the Nordic region.

Gense's products have always been characterized by both their classic and innovative designs – with a perfect combination of form and function. In 1982, Gense was awarded the title of Royal Warrant Holder by the Swedish king, which is clear proof that Gense's products are of the highest quality.
